Hi,
i'm quit new to programming python, but want to learn it ![]() I have a Nokia N80 (Symbian OS 9.1 und Series 60 3rd Edition) and want to receive the CellID, so i wrote the following programm: import location print(location.gsm_location()) But all i get, is "None". I looked around and found the following: * 'location.gsm_location()' returns 'None' instead of tuple if the location information is not relevant. Note that this module requires the capabilities ReadDeviceData, ReadUserData and Location to function. So, is there a possibility to get the cellID? Thanks in advance, Michael |

The only way to play with the cell ID is to get the heavier grade devcert. It requires an ACS publisher ID and that costs money (350$/year).
