Hi guys. i have transfered an image file from my nokia 3230 smartphone to my notebook computer via successully. but all of a sudden my notebook stopped being able to connect with the mobile with the following error message:

connecting with remote device failed

but i can send anything from my phone to my laptop via bluetooth with no troubles but not vice versa for some reason. please can anyone help me?

I have the same problem...from phone to PC all fine but PC to phone not connecting.Anyone has the answer to this one?

For more than 1 month my Dell laptop bluetooth connection was working very fine but lately i couldn't transfer any file from my PC to my cell phone. it gives me this error: "Connection with remote device failed". I wonder if this means my bluetooth connection has problems. Is that a bug?

what's makes the problem harder is that i was able to transfer files from my laptop to my cellphone from time to time. that why i think i sholud go to my Dell laptop suppliyer and tell them to fix that error.

I will go to them, and see what i can do, for the mean time if you have the solution please post it.
