The Pionner DEH-P55BT (-P70BT, -P75BT) is it car stereo with a bluetooth hands free system.
I am having problems in transferring my phonebook to my new DEH-P55BT. I can
use all function with my mobile and only am unable to transfer the phonebook
When I'm to send the contact information as a Bluetooth business card out of NOKIA
6233, what in DEH-P55BT blue LED (Connection status indicator) blinking on the front panel and mobile
report - "Transfer data proceed". And the end! In this one state they to get
caught in an endless loop.
No problems in transferring phonebook from may old 6230i to my new DEH-P55BT.
Are there any software updates for the 6233 which could fix this?

Same problem as well with the new kenwood system. There must be a major issue here NOKIA get something done.

The latest uk version is 05.70 as of 15-05-2006. I dont think its firmware I think this problem appeared on the N70 and that was because of a change in security on the Remote SIM service required to use SIM information.

The Remote SIM Service access has changed as the 6230i has no security to access the SIM once paired. The 6233 is a S40 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 and it has enhanced security, as I believe that the phonebook can only be accessed by certified programs. Once that autoconnect is enabled I dont know anything else that could enabled.

I did not understand jimgilmour1 response. Does that mean that due to the securinty in the developer platform of the 6233, the phonebook transfer feature is not useable? Also, has anyone been able to get music stored on their 6233 to play on their Pionner DEH-P55BT?

If so, how!?

Thanks. Sorry it was a speculative idea. I have since checked the Pioneer website and Nokia 6233 is not listed in the compatability list, Nokia 6230i is listed.
