aim is to develop an application which could connect to the nearly available bluetooth device automatically

i.e when a device searches another for a bluetooth connection , the PC

displays a message box or a message when clicked displays dialog box to enter
pin then logs in

the aim to remove this pin entry , and just log in after the device is recognised

. may be the pin is stored already in the application or an ini file and read when the device is found and just logs in

is there a way to do it in c# or .net 2003
or should i goto java ( i ve not done any java development )

or is this doen already somewhere

I'm not really an expert,
but I'll suggest you to have a look at

and right after implement everything with an Active Object.
About the PIN, as far as I know when you use the autoconnection, you don't even need to provide a PIN, like when you're using the graphical interface. At least this happens with my GPS bluetooth and my E60.

finally got the pin entry dialog removed

by using the UseFixedPin and PinCode
settings in registry

now questions :

how to enable/disable the stackserver ?
how to make stackserver re read its registry ?
