Hi,
I am new to this. I have Nokia 6103 Bluetooth phone and Clie UX-50 PDA with Bluetooth. Everything is working between them. I can send business cards and so on. I want to send SMS from Clie through GSM. Have got latest(?) GSM driver v 1.2.1 from Sony with following Nokia phones with those connection strings: Generic: X1E0+CMEE=1;+CSCS="GSM";V1 3650: E0X5&D2&C1S0=0+CGMR;+CMEE=1;+CSCS="GSM";+CMGF=0;V1 6310i: E0X5&D2&C1S0=1+CGMR;+CMEE=1;+CSCS="GSM";+CMGF=0;+CNMI=1,1,2,2,1;V1 6650: E0X5&D2&C1S0=1+CGMR;+CMEE=1;+CSCS="GSM";+CMGF=0;+CNMI=1,1,2,2,1;V1 7650: E0X5&D2&C1S0=0+CGMR;+CMEE=1;+CSCS="GSM";+CMGF=0;V1 8910i: E0X5&D2&C1S0=1+CGMR;+CMEE=1;+CSCS="GSM";+CMGF=0;+CNMI=1,1,2,2,1;V1 I was trying few of them while testing Sony BT to GSM. It asking me for 16 digit code (what 16 digits?, why 16?) on the phone, then asking to enter 16 digits code on Clie. After that Phone saying that Pairing was successful, but Clie throwing Phone Error: Unable to connect to phone. Please check your settings and make sure that the phone is ready. I guess this problem is related to connection string or something like that. Can anybody interpret those strings and recommend me solution? I would appreciate any help.

Hi,
I have the same problem using 6021 and Sony Clié PDA. It seems to me that there must be a list of connection strings with specific setting for each device. ¿Do anyone have a clue of where are this strings available? Pelotillo. |
