Hello
I would like to interface a GPS receiver to a cell phone via BlueTooth. I am trying to pick a cell phone. When I look at the specs of 6275i I see that it has Bluetooth and it also supports Bluetooth API (JSR-82). http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/6275i When I look at the specs of 6310i I see that is has Bluetooth but it does not list support for Bluetooth API (JSR-82). However, it does support Java Nokia(UI API, MIDP 1.0, CLDC 1.0) http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/6310i My question is can I interface a GPS receiver to the cell phone using J2ME in both cases?? How about using the Symbian Platform in C?? Saleem |

You dont say which GPS you intend to use gor Symbian. Look at this thread to see how S60 c++ was finally made to work with a GPS unit. http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...&highlight=GPS and the TOM TOM device code. http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...&highlight=GPS Search this Forum with the letters "GPS" and there are lots of articles with answers and code on using GPS devices.
