Nokia 6265i as BT modem -

Hi there
i bought 6265i and tried to use it as a modem on my Mac (OS X 10.4.8) but i get an error message saying no carrier detected the same thing using my PDA DELL x50v. How could it be? is it possible to use this handset as a modem via BTno MAC?
