Device Connectiviy tool help!!!!!! -

Hello,
I brought a 3com bluetooth adapter to deploy a midlet to my 6600. The bluetooth software setups the serial port. When i use Device Connectivity tool under the s60 sdk it doesn’t connect, it gives the usual message 1) out of range? 2) device did not authorise connection? 3) 4) Is this something to do with EcmtAgent? Thanks
