Hi,
Anyone know the size of persistant memory storage of nokia 7210/6610 (series 40) ?

I read in "Characteristics of Nokia Java-enabled phones v1_0.pdf", but I cant found any answer there.

If I'm not completely mistaken, the RMS space is 20 KB in Nokia 7210 & Nokia 6610.

That is very interesting. Only 20k for RMS Store for Series 40. Now, there goes possible multimedia feature for our development.

My next question is, where does this 20K persistent store located? Is this 20K shared within the 64K application space, or, the MIDlet JAR + JAD can still be 64K in size?

It is not shared. There are 3 types of memories

Heap : >200k for Nokia phones
Working (for RMS): 20KB for Series 40
Application Memory: e.g ~4MB on 7650

MIDlet size limitation is on

Series 30: 30KB
Series 40: 64KB
Series 60: None (But advisable to keep it within 100 KB or whatever limit the operator sets)
