Hello Guys,

I'm looking forward to buy nokia 6265 (as i'm shifting to CDMA), but i want to know one thing, if there is any software available which provides answering machine to this phone....as i use this feature very much on my current GSM phone (nokia 6260)..

6265 is a Series 40 phone and and the application development language for that device is Java ME. As there is no access to the phone calls from Java ME, and I do not know the device to have that kind of application built-in, I am guessing that such software is not available.
Can't you use the voicemail provided by the carrier?

Well my provider does provide such service, but it has stupid limit of storage of 5 voicemail only.. :(

I'm developing an answering machine for s40 3rd edition mobile phones. I red an article that there's a trick which can record a call in selected s40 mobile phones but its only a trick. Regarding to its functionality, recording and playing is possible using MMAPI 1.0 or higher with JSR-135 but the problem is the actual recording of call or how to record a call via gateway. What do you think is the best way to record a one way call? Thank You!

I have seen a Record function that comes with the Firmware in the S40 5th ed phones. AFAIK, its not possible to record calls with the currently available Java ME API's in Nokia phones.
