Themes made for s60 fp2 (like Nokia 3230) with Carbide.ui looks very bad on devices.
Some elements are not exporting at all, some exporting incorrectly.
For example - analogue clock looks vertically stretched.
Will Nokia finally make fast and qualitative software like it does SonyEricsson?

Excuse my bad english.

Hi cwwc,

In "Create a new Theme" wizard, do you use option S60 2nd Edition FP2?

Yes, i do.
Analogue clock, list and grid hilights and some other elements are not exporting correctly.
Themes made with Theme Studio 1.2 looks fine. But i want to use one application to make themes for Series 60, it's too hard and takes too many time when using Theme Studio 1.2 for FP2 and Carbide ui for FP3.

Could you please post a screenshot? There is a free screenshot software.

This is Nokia's Army theme. Look at grid and list hilights.
Screenshots made on Nokia 3230.

As for the clock changing/skinning the pointers is not supported in S60 FP2 (that is indicated in properties).

Do you have this problem only with the armi?

Before try following things I would like to let you know that I have not tried them (I do not have such phone) but is very likely one of them will work. If you try them can you post here if either of these worked?

First you could try to clear Animated Grid Highlight and Animated List Highlight.

Second thing that could work is following:

For the highlights (both list and grid) to see them correctly, I recommend to try following rather not nice action. In the Carbide.ui, open view Navigator (Window-> Show view -> Navigator), find the Armi theme folder, there the armi.tdf, and inside the file find <element with name "Grid Highlight" and inside it delete following snippet:
<effect name="AlphaBlending">
<param name="m" value="1"/>
</effect>

Then try to deploy it on the phone. If it works, it has sense to continue with the List Highlight.

Do the same thing for the List Highlight (there is nine piece element, so you should remove the snippet for all parts).
