I am new to open source language, i want to know that is it possible to get a copyright or patent on application based on Pyhton series60? I have question from students so need more clarifications
I think the question is not only related to PyS60 which is basically only an interpreter for S60 phone, but to Python in general.
Have you asked at the Python foundation already? LFD Devices: Nokia E61 3rd Edition - pys60 1.4.0 Tips and modules: http://www.lfdm.net/thesis |

Hi LFD,
See the API is provided by Nokia so if we are using that too develope application then we must ask Nokia, Python community is next stage i think |
The license on PyS60 doesn't restrict the rights of the application developer in any way, so you can do whatever you want with your PyS60 apps.
