Hi,

I downloaded the Python for S60 1.3.12 sdk's from

http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=458217

In the sdk's of this release there is no py2sis tool. How can we create the sis file in this case ?

The py2sis tool is included in your C++ S60 Platform for Symbian OS. So install the C++ SDK at first, and then copy the python SDK files in the right folders of the C++ SDK you use

Thank you for the reply. I had initially installed the c++ sdk's (series 60 2nd FP3). The py2sis file was not present then. When i unzipped the file PythonForS60_1_3_12_SDK_2ndEd.zip i did not find the file either.

The only time i got the file was when installing the older version viz PythonForSeries60_1_2_for_2ndEd_SDK.zip. Can i use the py2sis file got here, in the above case to generate the sis file ?

Actually I'm not sure anymore cause I've been through quite many updates this year.

I have it in the following folder C:\Nokia\Tools\Python_for_Series_60\py2sis but i'm not sure if it's included in the C++ SDK, it's seems not.

I guess you can paste the files in his location and be also careful to have its path in the environment variables.

Thank you for the reply. I guess the py2sis is available only with PythonForSeries60_1_2_for_2ndEd_SDK and FP1, FP2 versions.

Hi,
py2sis is still available in sourge package(pys60-1_3_12_src.zip). I'm not sure has it changed since older releases.
