There seems to be a strange problem related to installation on E61. See:

Please reply to this thread if you have tried to install PyS60 on E61 and a) if it succeeded or not, b) the firmware version you have (type *#0000# to see it) c) the version(s) of PyS60 you tried and d) whether you installed on memory card or phone memory.

Installation succeeded without problems, have only tried running a few scripts which seem to work ok.
b) 2.0618.06.05
c) i think i've used all 3rd releases
d) phone memory

Hi, my e61 firmware version is 2.0618.06.05 and PyS60 is working properly. Try uninstalling any previous pys60 you have installed on ur e61 and then try re-installing the latest new version pys60 for 3rd edition on ur e61. Remember to install both pythonfors60_1_3_13_3rded_selfsigned.sis and pythonscriptshell_1_3_13_3rded_selfsigned.sis file on ur e61. Hope this helps.
