Hello All,

I am able to play Mp3 stream by using the CMdaAudioOutputStream.
I wanna know if there is anyway i can extract the Meta info from the MP3 stream.I know there is a facility in CMdaAudioPlayerUtility but i cannot use it as it cannot play stream. I did try to create an instance of CMdaAudioPlayerUtility and tried to initialize it with stream it did get created but when i tried GetNumberofMetaDataEntries it returned KErrNotReady :o(
Could any1 tell me how i can go about it?

FYI (Java dev):

MetaDataControl has always available at least the default keys that are listed in the MMAPI specification (MetaDataControl.AUTHOR_KEY, MetaDataControl.COPYRIGHT_KEY, MetaDataControl.DATE_KEY, MetaDataControl.TITLE_KEY). If the media does not have metadata values for these keys, they will have the value "unknown". If the media does not have metadata at all, these keys are still available with the associated values "unknown".

which means no real device with that yet on market (speaking about Nokia's) except of announced N95 (is N75 S603rdEdFP1???),

quick update. The N95 does not support Metadata control for ID3v1 mp3s!
