Hi,

j2me midp 2.0, cldc 1.1, mma - jsr135, Nokia 6233.

I've found that when my app is up and after receaving an incoming call the speaker sound set to low and the volume controls are locked.
I belive it is a device problem because i tried it on an example app as well on the devices game - Snake.

How can i override this problem?

does that behavior ends if j2me application is restarted after receving such call? (so it accquires media resource again from system)

Yes, when i restart the app then the volume is back to normal and so the volume controls are released.

I also Found that if I create an Alert of AlertType.Alarm or AlertType.Error then it also restore the sound and controlls.

Any Idea?,

I've noticed this too. But on my phone, after the call ends the volume is higher than it was before. I have the volume for incoming calls set at high, so I guess that it is setting the volume to whatever you have your incoming calls set.

[EDIT]It might be the speaker phone volume. I don't exactly remember and I don't have the phone here to check.
