Connecting to the web -

Yhis is all new to me so apologies in advance for the very vague questions. I have installed java, eclipse and carbide.j and i have a sample midlet working.
Basically i want my application to connect to a specific web-site. How easy is it to connect? What do i need to do? Is there anything required on the server that hosts the site? Appreciate your feedback.

You don't need anything special in the server that host the site, your client should do HTTP requests as a normal browser. To do that use the HttpConnection, you can find information on how to use it on google.
What are you planning to do with your application?
