I have my N80 playing a streaming video (RTSP) using J2ME. I've noticed that sometimes the N80 screensaver appears over the top of the video - taking up the full screen. I can still hear the audio of the video playing when the screensaver takes over.
Anyone know how to tame the screensaver? It's unpredictable when it happens too. Sometimes it doesn't bother me. Sometimes it happens when there is a pause (i.e. rebuffering) in the video stream - there may or may not be a link there.... |

AFAIK, from a Java application its not possible to control the default Screensaver of the device.
What about increasing the screensaver/powersaver timeout duration from the Phones display settings? (just my crazy thoughts! ;)) Regards Gopal __________________ MobiQuil.com An initiative by Developers for Developers. http://www.mobiquil.com - Alpha - Launched. |
