hello ,
This is a small software for your cell phone with which you can create a new Internet Connection (internet access point, connection profile, whatever you call it) on the phone. If you use this connection, the phone does not dial or connect to GPRS, but uses bluetooth (or the USB cradle) to connect to your PC. Thus you will be able to surf the web, download software/data/email/whatever you like without paying any fee to your operator. For 3rd there's a version of GNUBox also but before using it you have to sign it yourself with your dev cert free because cap required is WriteDeviceData ! GNUBox for 3rd unsigned Thanks to Multivax to this port ![]() links : Official GNUBox site Internet sharing with GNUBox pys60 1.4.5,1.9.7,pygame,PyS60 CE on E90 , N810 with Python 2.5.2 and ... last PyS60 1.9.7 with touch ui on 5800 ! pys60 extension modules on http://cyke64.googlepages.com/ |

Wow finally.
I got E50 and i get certificate error. Can u please explain more what exactly i need to do to fix it? Thx. |
|
Have you signed the .sis file with your developer's certificate? The .sis file from this site is unsigned.

|
No.
Can someone please tell me how to do that -.-? Thx. |
|
Well... the process is a little bit complicated. Firstly, you need to apply for certificate from SymbianSigned.com. Then you use the certificate to sign gnubox's .sis file.
I have also a question for cyke64. Why don't you submit this application for Symbian Signed for signing? I think it would make end users' life easier. Antony |

First of all, download the unsigned gnubox file to your desktop. Then, download the DevCertRequest at: https://www.symbiansigned.com/DevCer..._2006_v2.0.exe
Then download the Nokia S60 SDK at (make sure u have activeperl installed too): http://forum.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia..._for_Java.html Also m-Router at: http://developer.intuwave.com/Downlo...authorize_form Developer Cert Request - I assume u've signed up at their website. - Start the DevCertRequest program It'll be easier if u name all the files as gnubox =Step1: Select as output file for your *.csr file =Step2: If you dont have ACS pub ID , select No. Then select your key output *.key file name , and fill password. ps: for Step1 and 2, have the files output to ur desktop. =Step3: Fill Personal info =Step4: Add capabilities (i selected all) =Step5: Finish Developer cert request. Then *.csr file will created. - Login in to Symbiansigned.com, click "My Symbian Signed" tab - Click "Developer Certificates" on left side bar, - Click "Request" and upload *.csr file and wait - Will automatically change to Dev cert page. You can download dev cert, *.cer to the desktop Signing The File - Go to "Start" -> "Run" -> type command - In the command prompt, type cd desktop (enter) - Then type signsis -o -s -v gnubox.sis gnuboxs.sis gnubox.cer gnubox.key password (enter) - TA-DA!! it's signed! - use the newly generated gnuboxs.sis and install!! Wow, I've never heard of that, but I have thought that using the home internet on my phone would be useful for testing sites etc for free.
Well now I've got that too! Great! ![]() Nokia E66 PyS60 1.4.4 final |
