Hi, i'm pretty new with nokia technologies
, and i found that nokia phones record videos in a 3g2 format that can't be watched on my PC .I have a 6265 and i read that it's capable to record on a mpeg-4 format, is it true?, how can i change it? Plus, can the video converter 2.0 convert 3g2 files to mpeg or any other video formats?. Thanks a bunch! ![]() |

You can watch 3g2 or 3gp videos on your PC at least with the Nokia Multimedia Player (part of Nokia PC Suite http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite) or with Apple QuickTime. Probably also with the latest Real Player. (Windows Media Player doesn't support those formats yet, as far as I know, even if Microsoft has mobile devices that can create and play those formats).
You can also use various video file format converters on your PC. E.g., eRightSoft SUPER (http://www.erightsoft.com). And I don't know about the 6265 as it is an S40 based device, but on S60 based devices such as the N73 supporting 3GPP and MPEG-4, in the video recorder app you can choose the format by hitting "Options" and choosing "Settings" and changing the "Video quality" setting. |
