hi there, i have been trying to get this worked on the nokia 5800 and this was written for 3rd edition, the operating or the commands for the camera seem to be different, could some one help me with commands here please ? or re write it for nokia 5800 if someone has time

It would help if you told us what doesn't work. Does nothing happen? Do you get errors?

apologies, i will explain in detail,

i ran this script in python 1.9.7 (i guess the latest one )

1. it asks me to enter the name of project
2. number of photos
3. time between photos
4. resolution ... 1280*960, 800*900, 640*480
5. modes ... auto, none, red eye, forced
6. type .. auto, center, backlight, night
7. then it aks... daylight, fluorsent, tungsten, auto, cloudy,,
when clicked on OK, i get the below

thats all i get, the camera flashes once only.. but no pictures or nothing

i guess the problem is with the path of the image stored like in PyS60 1.4.x releases the Python directory was in the root like E:\\Python and in PyS60 1.9.x the Python directory is inside the data directory like E:\\Data\\Python, so changing that to your own directory will make that work.

I'm pretty sure you just need to manually create folder Python/timelapse on SD card.

But don't worry, after you get around that, there are still other issues preventing this from running on 5800.

why do you say it will have problems ?? could you guide me further on that ??

i had to hard reset my phone due to a software causing nothing to work, in processing of installing all the s/w's back
