n6131 won't bluetooth with thinkpad -

why won't my 6131 bluetooth with my thinkpad laptop.. i can send files from laptop to phone but not the other way.
solutions?

thanks.. will try solution ( mine is a thinkpad x40) and yes mine connects then automatically disconnects.
